Mildred L. Fitzgerald Zielke

Mildred L. Fitzgerald Zielke, 97, of Paulding, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at the Gardens of Paulding.

She was born November 5, 1914, in Harrison County, the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Kirby) Holmes. In 1939, she married Jeptha D. “Fitz” Fitzgerald, who preceded her in death in 1966. In 1971, she married Arthur P. Zielke, who preceded her in death on January 10, 1987.

Survivors include two daughters, Carla Yoh and Ja-Dee (Rick) DeGood, both of Paulding; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with the Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery in Paulding.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 6, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
