VFW post to host Red Cross bloodmobile

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, 111 N. Shannon St., will host an American Red Cross bloodmobile from noon-6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at the post.

Those who are at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent) who weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and are in good general health may be eligible to donate blood. Forms are available at the Red Cross office, 208 E. Main St.

Bring a positive form of identification (a donor card or driver’s license) when seeking to donate blood. Call 800.733.2767 to schedule an appointment (walk-ins are always welcome).
