Randall L. Hammons

Randall L. Hammons, 50, of Van Wert, died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was born November 24, 1961, in Van Wert, the son of L. DeWayne Hammons, who survives in Van Wert, and Peggy F. (Fleenor) Hammons, who also survives in Van Wert.

Mr. Hammons was a CNC machinist at Eaton Corporation in Van Wert, with more than 25 years of service. He was a member of American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE).

In addition to his parents, survivors include two sons, Kyle L. Hammons and A.J. (Megan) Hammons, both of Van Wert; and two grandchildren, Conner and Ryan Hammons.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating.

Calling hours are from 5-9 p.m. Friday, April 13, at the funeral home.
