Patricia (Harr) Giessler

Patricia “Patty” (Harr) Giessler, 85, of Van Wert, died at 4:45 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, at Vancrest of Convoy.

She was born April 21, 1926, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Leonard and Vernice (Wilson) Harr. On January 26, 1946, she married Wayne A. Giessler, who preceded her in death on February 28, 2008.

Survivors include a daughter, Sarah (Dale) Burden of Convoy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 16, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Rita Baer officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: American Red Cross.
