Virginia Ann Williams

Virginia Ann Williams, 76, of Van Wert, died at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born March 26, 1936, in Switzerland County, Ind., the daughter of the late Warren W. and Aldean (Courtney) Heath.

Survivors include four children, Ricky Lynn (Alice) Johns, Barry Wane (Linda Wolford) Johns, Sallie Ann (Randy) Roberts and Debra Jean (Gary) Ashbaugh, all of Van Wert; two brothers, Charles W. (Linda) Heath of Van Wert and Onley W. (Elsie) Heath of Sugar Creek; a sister, Hilda Trammell of Van Wert; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and seven nephews.

A sister-in-law, one niece and a nephew also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Onley W. Heath officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Monday, April 16, at the funeral home, where an American Legion Auxiliary memorial service will be held at 7 that evening.
