HAVILAND — The Lincolnview varsity track teams competed in the Wayne Trace Invitational on Friday night. Both teams had a solid evening competing in their first invitational of the season. The boys took home the third place trophy and the girls finished fourth as a team.
“I was very excited to see the kids compete so hard tonight,” said Lincolnview Coach Matt Langdon. “They did such a great job in all areas of the meet.
“Because of their focus and effort, we were able to have a lot of fun and see a large number of season and career bests,” Coach Langdon added. “The kids competed the right way from the very beginning and kept up that attitude until the last event of the night.”
