Laura D. Riggenbach, 80, of Van Wert, died at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born April 16, 1932, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Earl and Annabelle (Moorehead) Williamson. On June 17, 1950, she married Richard Riggenbach, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Riggenbach was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert. She was a former member of Elks Lodge 1197 and Moose Lodge 1320, both in Van Wert.

Survivors include two sons, Stan (Nancy) Riggenbach of Waterville and Mark Riggenbach of Van Wert; six grandchildren, Thomas, Brian, Bradley, David, Nicholas and Callie Riggenbach; and 10 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Tyler, Noah, Ellie, Taylor, Maxwell, William, Isabel, Kylie and Elijah Riggenbach.

Two brothers, Ken and Bill Williamson, and two sisters, Kate Sprow and Betty Fox, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 23, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Gus Christo-Baker officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, April 22, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
