Beginning a journey

St. Mary of the Assumption School's staff and students are saddened by the death of the mother of two of our students, Kambi and Jaden Kohnen. Because of a medical condition she and Kourtney shared, a trip had been arranged to Disney World through the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The family decided to continue with the trip thinking that is what she would have wanted. Above, Kourtney, Jaden and dad, Jerry, surrounded by the staff and students of St. Mary's School, were offered best wishes and prayers as they began their journey. (Photo submitted.)
