‘Beauty and the Beast’ dinner planned

A barbecue chicken dinner will be held this Friday, April 20, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Van Wert High School. Both eat-in and carryout meals are available.

Actors from the musical Beauty and the Beast, which is being performed at 7 p.m., will greet guests dining in the high school commons. Young and old will love meeting Belle, the Beast, Mrs. Potts, Chip, Lumiere, Gaston, and other memorable cast members.

Romer’s Catering from Celina is providing the meals. Cost is $7 per meal; tickets can be purchased either by coming in or calling VWHS at 419.238.3350, or they will be available at the door. VWHS seniors sponsor the meal, with all proceeds going to Blessings in a Backpack, a program that sends food home weekly to 175 Van Wert area children.
