ODOT road construction projects listed

LIMA — The Ohio Department of Transportation, District 1, has provided a report on construction and maintenance projects underway this week. Projects in area counties include the following:

Van Wert County

Ohio 49 and Ohio 111 in Paulding and Van Wert counties restricted to one lane in the work zone for a pavement repair and resurfacing project that will continue until mid-August. On Ohio 49, the project will take place in the village of Wren; from U.S. 224 to U.S. 30, excluding the village of Convoy; and from the north corporation limit of Payne to the north corporation limit of the village of Antwerp. On Ohio 111, the project will take place from the Indiana-Ohio state line to Ohio 49. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company of Findlay.

U.S. 127, north of U.S. 224, is restricted to one lane through the work zone for tile work. Work is being performed by the Van Wert County ODOT.

Paulding County

Ohio 49 at the south edge of the village of Payne will close May 1 until late September for a bridge deck replacement project. Traffic detoured onto Ohio 114, U.S. 127, Ohio 613 and Ohio 500 back to Ohio 49. Work is being performed by Dot Construction of Canfield.

U.S. 127 from the Van Wert County line to Township Road 72 is restricted to one lane during the week through the work zone for sealing of pavement cracks. Work is being performed by Paulding County ODOT.

Ohio 114, from U.S. 127 to the Putnam County line will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for berm work. Paulding County ODOT is doing the work.

Ohio 49, from the Defiance County line to the north corporation limit of Antwerp, is reduced to one lane through the work zone for berm work during the week. Paulding County ODOT is doing the work.

Putnam County

Ohio 12 on the west side of the village of Columbus Grove is closed for two weeks, beginning April 30, for a sewer replacement project. Traffic is detoured onto Ohio 65, U.S. 224 and Ohio 235, back to Ohio 12. Stillion Brothers Excavating is doing the work.

Ohio 12 and Ohio 186 in Hancock and Putnam counties will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair and resurfacing. Work will begin first on Ohio 186 on Tuesday, April 24. On Ohio 12, the project will take place from the Putnam County line to County Road 86, and on Ohio 186 from U.S. 224 to Ohio 613. Shelly Company of Findlay is doing the work.

Ohio 15, Ohio 65, Ohio 109 and Ohio 613 through the villages of Ottawa and Leipsic, including the section of Ohio 109 from Ohio 65 to Ohio 613, will be resurfaced beginning within the next few weeks. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone. The project will continue until mid-August. Bluffton Paving of Bluffton is doing the work.

Ohio 109 in the village of Ottawa closed April 16 for three weeks for curb work and catch basin replacement. Traffic detoured onto Ohio 15, Ohio 108, and Ohio 613, back to Ohio 109. Ward Construction is doing the work.
