Douglas S. Eshelman

Douglas S. “Esh” Eshelman, 51, of Van Wert, died at 9:54, Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born January 14, 1961, in Natrona Heights, Pa., the son of Judith E. (Hill) Eshelman, who survives in Natrona Heights, and the late Ronald L. Eshelman. On June 28, 2002, he married Belinda J. (Bowling) Eshelman, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include a daughter, April Stefanik of Leechburg, Pa.; two stepchildren, Trish Burtch of Chattanooga (Ohio) and Brad (Justina) High of Mendon; two brothers, Jeffrey L. Eshelman of Cincinnati and Curtis A. (Gail) Eshelman of Natrona Heights, Pa.; one grandchild; and two nephews and a niece.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the funeral home.
