At St. Mary of the Assumption School the most recent LIFE Skill (Living in a Faithfilled Environment) was a "sense of humor." A "sense of humor" gets one through many tough situations and is always appreciated. The role model from the Bible is Sarah. God had promised Sarah and Abraham a child when they were more than 90 years old! When God told them, Sarah laughed. They named their baby boy, Isaac, which means "laughter." Students recognized for having a sense of humor include Joe Schaufelberger, Kaden Thomas, Mason McHugh, Sam Cassidy, James Hagaman, Lauren McHugh, Kourtney and Jaden Kohnen.
