VWCH Casino Night fundraiser coming

Van Wert County Hospital’s annual Casino Night Fundraising Event returns this Friday, April 27, to Van Wert Elks Lodge 1197.  This important event raises much-needed funds to support the Grand Lake Regional Cancer Center, as well as Van Wert County Hospital.

The evening begins with doors and tables opening at 7 p.m. Two exciting silent auctions are scheduled to include a wide variety of generously donated baskets, professional sporting event tickets, jewelry and a host of other fine items.  Fun includes a 50/50 drawing, door prizes, and raffles (including one for a 42-inch Vizio flat screen television). Games for the evening include roulette, craps, blackjack, slot machines and poker.

Tickets are $30 each or 2 for $50.  Tickets can be purchased by emailing info@vanwertcountyhospital.org or by visiting the cashier’s window at Van Wert County Hospital. Tickets include admission, $10 in play money, a door prize ticket, and gourmet appetizers throughout the night along with cash bar.

Great food, great company, great games/raffles and great silent auctions – don’t miss out! Remember, up to 50 percent of “play money” winnings can be used towards purchases from the auctions. The Elks lodge is located on Van Wert-Decatur Road.

Casino Night is a unique opportunity to positively impact cancer programs in the local community as well as support the local hospital.
