Day of Prayer event set in Van Wert

Pastor Steve Savage of Trinity Friends Church, who is also president of the Van Wert County Ministerial Association, announces that the association’s annual National Day of Prayer event will be held Thursday, May 3, in front of the Van Wert County Court House.

The Ministerial Association has assembled a group of local business leaders and office holders, as well as pastors, who will lead the assembled group in specific prayer for national, state, and local government officials, as well as needs specific to the city and county.

The event will begin at noon, and community residents are invited to assemble in front of the Court House for this prayer event.  In case of rain, the group will move inside the Court House.
