Susan U. (Peplinski) Jones

Susan U. (Peplinski) Jones, 55, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and formerly of Convoy, died at 12:01 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born January 5, 1957, in Traverse City, Mich., the daughter of Ulaine (Allen) Peplinski, and Fred Peplinski, both of whom survive in Maple City, Mich. She married Jeffrey L. Jones, who survives in Fort Wayne.

Other survivors include two children, Carrie (Scott) Martin of Viera, Fla., and Heather (Juan) Garcia of Archbold; a brother, Wally (Cheryl) Peplinski of Flushing, Mich.; two sisters, Brenda (Rich) Murnane of Goshen, Ind., and Cindy (Bob) Moser of Reed City, Mich.; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Two children, Eric and Ryan Jones; and a brother, David Peplinski, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at Gearhart, Mack & Jurczyk Funeral Home in Convoy, with the Rev. Jay Jones officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the funeral home.
