L’view has coaching, teacher vacancies

The Lincolnview Local School District will be seeking a new basketball coach and two new elementary teachers as a result of personnel action taken during a special meeting conducted Monday morning.

The board accepted the resignation of Rob Welch as head boys’ basketball coach, as well as girls’ golf coach.

Also accepted were the resignations of Jeri Lipp, a second-grade teacher, and Barb Wolfrum, a sixth-grade teacher, due to their approaching retirement.

Superintendent Doug Fries said applicants for the basketball position can call his office at 419.968.2226, while those seeking the girls’ golf coaching position should call Athletic Director Tom Bryan at 419.968.2343.

Those interested in the teaching positions should contact Elementary Principal Gordon Stemen at 419.968.2351.

No other action was taken during the meeting.
