C’view walk-a-thon

On April 21, the seniors of Crestview High School, under the guidance of English teacher Pamela Brown, hosted a walk-a-thon to benefit the Snyder family of Wren and the family of the late Mary Smith. The event, which lasted from noon to 8 p.m., collected over $1,700 for the Snyder family.  The seniors invested over 800 hours as a class in planning, promoting, and participating in the event.  Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is graciously providing $1,500 to be given to the Mary Smith family later this month.
