Regina B. Taner
Regina B. Taner, 91, of Paulding, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at the Gardens of Paulding.
She was born February 10, 1921, in Lake Como, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Spyholski) Sienko. On January 2, 1943, she married Donald Clemens Taner, who preceded her in death on November 1, 1989.
Survivors include a son, Mark Taner of Paulding; one son-in-law, Terry Hasch of Defiance; a brother, Leonard Sienko of Hancock, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
A daughter, Elaine Hasch; five brothers, John, Walter, Joseph, Henry and Chester Sienko; and two sisters, Albina Denofsky and Clara Carey, also preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish in Paulding. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Paulding.
Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, where a wake will be held at 7:30 that evening, and an hour prior to services Friday at the church.
