DonnaV Ruth Dunlap

DonnaV Ruth Dunlap, 89, of Van Wert, died at 11:32 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born February 7, 1923, in Decatur, Ind., the daughter of the late Ernest F. and Leota (Butcher) Bebout. On September 15, 1940, she married Charles K. Dunlap, who preceded her in death on March 2, 2006.

Survivors include seven children, Roger (Sharon) Dunlap, Jerry Dunlap, Phyllis (James) Adams and Nancy (Harry) Latimer, all of Van Wert, Robert (Suzanne) Dunlap of Ossian, Ind., Chuck K. (Lynn) Dunlap Jr. of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Ruth Dunlap of Leo, Ind.; two sisters, Pat (Robert) Sowers and Joan (Robert) Thomas, both of Van Wert; a sister-in-law, Mary Bebout of Van Wert; 10 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Donald and Gene Bebout; and three sisters, Glendola Myers, Mary Sheets and Edith Dunlap, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 18, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Revs. Ron Lumm, Paul W. Miller and Stuart Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at the funeral home.
