Buckeye Youth to sell doughnuts at fest

Buckeye Youth, a United Way agency and non-profit local youth organization, will be serving its fresh made doughnuts at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds during the Peony Festival.

The group will have regular doughnuts with sugar, cinnamon-sugar and powdered sugar, as well as chocolate, blueberry and cherry doughnuts.

Doughnuts are $3 for half dozen, $5 for a dozen or 50 cents each.

These are the same great doughnuts Buckeye Y serves at the Van Wert County Fair and Apple Festival.

Area residents can order ahead by calling 419.238.3546 and leaving a message on Thursday, May 31, Friday, June 1, and Saturday June 2.
