Helen Lucille Prill

Helen Lucille Prill, 86, of Van Wert, died at 1:12 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born May 26, 1926, in Fort Wayne, Ind., the daughter of the late Cleon H. and Hazel E. (Watson) White. On October 10, 1947, she married Howard LaDoyt Prill, who preceded her in death on July 11, 2000.

Survivors include two sons, Warren (Joyce) Prill of Fishers, Ind., and Norman Prill of Cookeville, Tenn.; two daughters, Jane Ellen (David) Hudson of Cookeville, Tenn., and Ann (Monwell) Sheley of Zanesville, Ind.; a sister, Marilyn Boughan of Florida; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 4, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Chad Strabbing officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, June 3, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
