Rays of Hope Camp scheduled in June
CHP information
Community Health Professionals’ Hospice will conduct its annual Rays of Hope Camp June 26-28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, at Camp Clay, 9196 Liberty-Union Road.
The camp is for children ages 6-17 who have recently lost a loved one and helps them gain support, develop friendships and have a better understanding of the grief process.
Most importantly, Rays of Hope Camp provides an environment where kids can express feelings of loss among others their age with similar experiences.
There are also many fun activities like swimming, rock wall climbing, team-building obstacles, crafts, games, music, and more. Open to youth from Allen, Auglaize, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam and Van Wert Counties; the cost is $20 for one family member, $25 for two and $30 for three or more. Registration deadline is June 18.
