Roger H. Hawk

Roger H. Hawk, 74, of Rockford, died Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

He was born May 23, 1938, in Liberty Township, Mercer County, the son of Thelma (Groth) Hawk and the late William Baird Hawk. On November 15, 1959, he married Connie Sue (Haas) Hawk, who preceded him in death on December 31, 2010.

In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, Michael (Linda) Hawk of Rockford; two sisters, Miriam (Robert) Fetters of Mendon and Charlene Hawk of Rockford; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Victoria Mosier, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Community Health Professionals/Visiting Nurses of Van Wert County or the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
