Injury crash

The Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol handled a two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday afternoon at the intersection of Liberty-Union Road and U.S. 30. The accident, which involved a Chevrolet Cavalier and a Ryder rental truck, occurred at approximately 5 p.m. Monday. The driver of the car was transported to Van Wert County Hospital by Brickner Ambulance Service for treatment of injuries received in the accident. No other information is available on the accident at this time. Assisting the Patrol at the scene was the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department and Convoy Fire & EMS. (Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
