“Moon and/or Stars” photos coming up

The Wassenberg Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, at the Wassenberg Art Center. “Moon and/or Stars” will be the competition theme in prints and slides that evening.

The Wassenberg Art Center wishes to thank the Wassenberg Camera Club’s President, Douglas Heckler and Vice President, Will Hawkins for assisting with jurying day for their 56th Annual June Art Exhibit. Doug and Will photographed the artwork as it was accepted into the upcoming exhibit.

President Doug Heckler has invited all who went to Magee Marsh to bring a dozen or so pictures on a jump drive for projecting that evening. Anyone who is interested in birds will enjoy this show. He also stated that after Bill Sorenson’s long illness, Jan Sorensen may attend the meeting.

Acting Treasurer Karl Gribler asks that anyone having money from the sale of the club’s $5 Discount Cards to turn it in that evening.
