Robert L. Dailey

Robert L. Dailey, 84, of Convoy, died at 3:45 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, at Dekalb Memorial Hospital in Auburn, Ind.

He was born April 25, 1928, in Berne, Ind., the son of the late Stanton Revere and Margaret Martha (Brandt) Dailey. On June 18, 1952, he married Eileen D. (Wells) Dailey, who preceded him in death on December 3, 2003.

Survivors include three children, Eric (Jolenna) Dailey of Oakwood and Michael N. Dailey and Susie (Greg) Harrell, both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Charles (Ilene) Dailey and David Dailey, both of Berne, Ind.; three sisters, Alma Kable and Katherine Bair, both of Fort Wayne, and Marjorie Dodane of Kingman, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Thomas Dailey and Stanton Dailey Jr.; and a sister, Mary Bennett, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, at Gearhart, Mack & Jurczyk Funeral Home in Convoy, with the Rev. Eric Dailey officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
