Floyd L. Ross

Floyd L. Ross, 57, of Van Wert, died at 8:55 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born November 10, 1954, in Paulding, the son of the late Harold Ross and Mary (Ditto) Ziegler. On August 1, 1980, he married Lynette (Craig) Ross, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two children, Amber (Ryan Miller) Smith and Jason (Kristy) Ross, both of Van Wert; a brother, Frank (Carol) Ross of Haviland; five sisters, Judy (Charlie) Aultman and Joyce Ross, both of Florida, Janet (Lee) Lepper of New Haven, Ind., JoAnn (Brady) Stainback of Florida, and Jill (Louie) Strauss of New York; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 29, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Keith Stoller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at the funeral home.
