Select Series tickets go on sale today

After releasing the Community Concert Series and the Grand Series, we are now ready to fill seats at the NPAC for those wishing to create their own selection of concerts.  In past years, this has been a very popular choice and has created a very busy day for our box office.

As was advertised, Select Series sales begin today (Wednesday, June 27) beginning at noon.  At that time, numbers will be distributed to those waiting to enter the lobby.  Numbers will not be distributed until the doors open at noon.  Once you enter the Grand Lobby, we will have chairs, cookies, punch and materials for you to make your selection while waiting your turn to come to the box office.  Our staff and volunteers will be waiting to serve you.

For your convenience, a form will be given to you where you can easily mark your selections and give to the box office.  We will try to keep the process moving as quickly and efficiently as possible and having these forms will aid the process.

Remember- a Select Series is any quantity of concerts, shows, or events you wish to purchase tickets for starting at three or more. Three to five concerts will give you a 10 percent discount.  Six or more concerts selected will give you a 15 percent discount.  Select Series can only be purchased in person or by phone at 419.238.NPAC (6722).

I hope many will take advantage of this opportunity because I can’t imagine an arts patron not wanting to attend at least three performances.  Keep in mind that all Community Concerts, Grand Series, and Lecture Series performances qualify for a Select Series.

Our hours today (Wednesday) will be extended until 6 p.m.  This gives us a full six hours to handle everyone wanting to get seats reserved for the upcoming season.  There are a total of 24 events to choose from.  Although everyone has their favorite types of performances, some of the highlights are the gala concert featuring tenor Ronan Tynan, Coach Bob Knight, The Lennon Sisters, Oak Ridge Boys, Osmond Brothers Christmas, Shrek the Musical, and Vicki Lawrence, just to name a few!

If you can’t make it today (Wednesday), the opportunity to create a Select Series continues each day.  I can’t imagine any performance completely selling out by today, but I could be surprised.  Any single performance also goes on sale with remaining tickets approximately 90 days in advance.

If you haven’t had the chance to see our brand new web site (www.npacvw.org), I encourage you to take a look.  It is filled with more information than ever and as time goes on, we will be filling it with even more video clips and new exciting information about all the performances coming to the NPAC.  It’s a great way to stay and get informed.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience as we help each patron find the best possible seats for them.  It is always an exciting day and we look forward to seeing you at the NPAC.

Also, don’t forget about the Lima Pops Orchestra this Friday night in Fountain Park. The program looks really enjoyable, with many new selections of movie themes, Broadway, pop tunes, marches and patriotic selections.  Come to Fountain Park and celebrate America as we lead you into the upcoming Fourth of July holiday.  The concert starts at 7 p.m. and the Van Wert High School Band Parents will begin serving food at 5:30 p.m., including some cool treats!

FINÉ.
