Eleanor L. Johnson

Eleanor L. Johnson, 92, of Van Wert, died at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born June 30, 1920, in Mercer County, the daughter of the late Charles R. and Mary H. (Williams) Price. On November 20, 1948, she married Robert Donald Johnson, who preceded her in death on October 19, 2007.

Other survivors include a son, Rodger (Cathy) Johnson of Van Wert; one daughter, Beverly J. Valentine of Convoy; three sisters, Deloris Moore of Holgate, Mary Kathiern Hayman of Lehighton, Pa., and Malinda Kaylor of Three Rivers, Mich.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A brother, Charles Warren Price; and one sister, Louise Boroff, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, July 7, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor David Ray officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at the funeral home.
