Football official classes announced

The Midwest Buckeye Football Officials Association is offering classes to train and certify new high school officials. Students will receive all rulebooks and officials’ manuals and have their dues paid to the Ohio High School Athletic Association. Students must pass the OHSAA official’s test as part of the class.

High school students interested in officiating grade school football games may also enroll. Classes will meet on Tuesdays from 6:30 until 9 p.m., beginning July 16 and ending September 10. Classes will be conducted at St. Marys High School.

Successful candidates will become certified OHSAA Class II officials. There is a fee of $125 for the class. For more information or to register, contact 419.733.6762 or email gmosier@bright.net
