Engineer sets debris pickup deadline

County engineering department crews have been busy cleaning up storm debris left over from the June 29 storm.

After four weeks, debris removal operations will cease on Thursday, July 26.  County crews have been doing their best to remove trees and brush from road right-of-ways, and landowners who haven’t already are encouraged to place their yard waste near the roadway to be picked up within the next two weeks.

After July 26, removal will be the responsibility of the landowners.
