Robert L. Michaelson Jr.

Robert L. Michaelson Jr., 47, of Van Wert, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born November 29, 1964, the son of Betty J. (Kness) Michaelson Letour, who survives in Grover Hill, and the late Robert Michaelson Sr.

Other survivors include his stepmother, Judy Michaelson of Grover Hill; three stepsons, James Jewell of Grover Hill, Devin Jewell of Columbus and Kurtis Jewell of Kenton; a brother, Randal D. Michaelson Jr. of Willshire; one sister, Kelly Jo Farris of Columbus; a stepbrother, Billy Van Treek of Florida; two stepsisters, Barbara Peterson of Missouri and Renee Randolph of Texas; a stepgrandson; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, July 20, at the Oakwood Church of Christ. Burial will be at a later date.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorials: The Multiple Sclerosis Society, Community Health Professionals-Hospice the Caring Way or a charity of donor’s choice.
