Tickets on sale soon for NPAC events

The Niswonger Performing Arts Center will be releasing individual ticket sales for three upcoming Community Concerts in the next few days. There is still time to buy the entire series of five shows for $60 but time is running out.

The Lennon Sisters

On Tuesday, July 24, individual ticket sales begin for “America’s Sweethearts”, The Lennon Sisters.  For 13 years on “The Lawrence Welk Show,” they charmed the nation with their sweet-voiced harmonies. The combination of their extraordinary natural vocal talents, hard working professionalism, striking looks, unassuming personalities and strong family values earned them a place in the homes and hearts of millions of fans nationwide. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 6. Tickets for this show are $30.

Tickets for the second Community Concert, The Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass concert, go on sale Thursday, July 26. This group is comprised of some of America’s top brass musicians who have appeared on the world’s most prominent stages and performed with such groups as the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the Philadelphia and Baltimore Symphonies and more. The concert is at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 20. Tickets are $20. The Friday evening prior, at the Van Wert vs. St. Marys football game, The Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass Band will give a sneak preview as it performs with the combined high school marching bands for a fantastic halftime show!

Also going on sale soon is the Sunday, November 11, 3 p.m. show featuring Igudesman & Joo. These two classical musicians have taken the world by storm with their unique and hilarious theatrical show, combining comedy with classical music and popular culture. For an afternoon of great entertainment and music, don’t miss this “A Little Nightmare Music” show! Tickets are $20 and on sale beginning August 9.

Rounding out the Community Concert Series will be the American Spiritual Ensemble on Friday, February 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Thomas Pandolfi, Pianist on Sunday, May 5 at 3 p.m. Individual tickets for these two shows are $20 and $10 respectively and go on sale later this year.
