Deadline set for VW County Fair entries

The Van Wert County Agricultural Society (fair board) announced that entries for the 2012 edition of the Van Wert County Fair will close on Wednesday, August 1. This includes all general entries, livestock entries, Senior Fair entries (must be brought to the Fair Office), Junior Fair entries (must be made online at www.vanwertcountyfair.com).

The fair office is currently open weekdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m.-noon, and is selling tickets for grandstand shows as well as season, membership and Junior Fair tickets. In order to vote for fair directors, one must be a resident of Van Wert County and purchase a membership ticket.

Camping permits may be picked up at the fair office starting August 15.

This year’s fair runs from August 29-September 3.
