Betty L. Dailey

Betty L. Dailey, 79, of Van Wert, died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born February 25, 1933, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Alfred and Ruth (Fawcett) Miller. She married Thomas Dailey, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include four children, Stephen (Leilani) Dailey and Kevin (Sandy) Dailey, both of Van Wert, Kathy Martin of Elida and Michael (Ana) Dailey of Archbold; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Robert Miller and Wilbur Miller, and two sisters, Marguerite Johns and Mary Johnson, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 3, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Will Haggis officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 2, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, and an hour prior to services Friday at the church.
