ODOT lists area highway projects

ODOT information

LIMA – The Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 1 has released its report on construction and maintenance work on state highways within the district’s area, which includes Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Wyandot counties. Area county road construction information is as follows:

Van Wert County

U.S. 224 west of Van Wert will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair at various locations. Van Wert County ODOT is performing the work.

Ohio 49 north of Willshire will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair at various locations. Van Wert County ODOT is performing the work.

U.S. 30 at the ramps at County Road 418 is restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair at various locations. Van Wert County ODOT is performing the work.

Ohio 709 just east of U.S. 127 is now open.

Paulding County

U.S. 24 throughout Paulding County is restricted in work zone areas throughout the week for berm repair. The project will primarily take place in the shoulder area along the highway. Paulding County ODOT is performing the work.

U.S. 127 and Ohio 613 intersection in Latty on the southwest corner will be restricted to one lane for pavement repair. Paulding County ODOT is doing the work.

Ohio 637 just north of the Van Wert County Line will be closed for three days, beginning August 7, for a culver replacement. Traffic will be detoured onto Ohio 114, Ohio 66 and U.S. 224 back to Ohio 637. Paulding County ODOT is performing the work.

Ohio 49 at the south edge of the village of Payne was reopened to traffic on July 13. Work on the bridge replacement project will continue through September, with at least one lane of traffic maintained at all times. Dot Construction of Canfield is doing the work.

Putnam County

Ohio 108 in Miller City will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. Putnum County ODOT is performing the work.

Ohio 634, between Road T-O and Road C-N, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. Putnam County ODOT is doing the work.

Ohio 12 at the west edge of Pandora will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. Putnam County ODOT is performing the work.

Ohio 65 north of Leipsic to the Henry County line is restricted through the work zone for a resurfacing project that is expected to be completed this week. Putnam County ODOT is doing the project.
