Convoy Fire & EMS to host poker run

CONVOY — The first annual Convoy Fire & EMS Poker Run for all types of vehicles will be held Saturday, August 11. Registration will be held at 10 a.m. that day at the Convoy Fire Station, 117 Franklin St. in Convoy, with the first vehicle out at 11 that morning, and the last vehicle back in at 3 in the afternoon.

All proceeds go to the Convoy Fire & EMS Department to help with the purchase of a new brush truck. There will be a donation of $20 per driver and a $10 donation per rider. The best hand will receive a $100 prize, and a drawing will be held for riders for a $100 prize.

Lunch will be furnished for all paid entries following the run.
