UNOH prepares for new students

LIMA — The University of Northwestern Ohio prepares for its largest influx of students on any one day during the year.  Friday, August 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the university campus dorms will have more than 545 students move in.  The students travel in from 29 different states across the country.  August 20 is the first day of classes for the College of Applied Technologies Fall Session.

The next start is the UNOH College of Business Fall Quarter classes, which begin September 10.

More than 4,500 students attend The University of Northwestern Ohio, with 1,400 students living in campus dorms. Over 200 students graduate from UNOH every six weeks.

According to the Allen Economic Development Group, The University of Northwestern Ohio has an impact of over $250 million dollars on the local economy. Limaland Motorsports Park, which is owned by UNOH, has an additional $15 million impact.
