Scholarship awarded

The Van Wert County Homemakers and Community Education Council has announced that Brandon Lippi of Van Wert has been named the winner of a $200 scholarship. Lippi is a 2012 graduate of Lincolnview High School, and will be studying engineering at Ohio University. He has been active in sports, community service activities, and church events for several years, and has been particularly active in Boy Scout activities, including an Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project that involved landscaping at the Van Wert Water Treatment Plant on U.S. 127.
