ODOT lists week’s area road projects

ODOT information

The Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 1 reports the following road construction projects for the week of August 13:

Van Wert County

U.S. 30 east of Van Wert will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for roadside betterment. The Van Wert County ODOT is performing the work.

Paulding County

Ohio 637, from Ohio 114 to Ohio 111, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. The Paulding County ODOT garage is doing the work.

Ohio 111, from U.S. 127 to Ohio 637, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. Paulding County ODOT is doing the work.

Ohio 637 just north of the Van Wert-Paulding County line is now open.

Ohio 49 at the south edge of the village of Payne reopened to traffic on July 13.  Work on the bridge replacement project will continue through September, with at least one lane of traffic maintained at all times. Throughout August, one-lane traffic will be maintained with a temporary signal. Dot Construction of Canfield is performing the work.

Putnam County

Ohio 613, between Putnam County Road 5 and McComb, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair and resurfacing that will continue through early November. The Shelly Company of Findlay is doing the work.

Ohio 65 north of Ottawa, between Township 7D and County Road 7, will be closed for seven days, beginning today, for a railroad crossing repair and culvert replacement project. Traffic will be detoured onto Ohio 109, Ohio 613 back to Ohio 65. Putnam County ODOT and CSX Railroad are doing the work.

Ohio 65 at the north edge of Leipsic will close August 20 for three days for a railroad crossing repair project. Traffic will be detoured onto Ohio 613, Ohio 108 and Ohio 18, back to Ohio 65. CSX Railroad is doing the work.
