Mary Lois Caywood

Mary Lois Caywood, 82, of Rockford, died at 4:28 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 8, 1930, in Springport, Mich., the daughter of the late Morris and Anna LaVerne (Lawrence) Williams. On August 8, 1953, she married Lowell Edwin Caywood, who preceded her in death on March 7, 2008.

Survivors include two sons, Randal Lee Caywood of Rockford and John Lowell (Angela) Caywood of Celina; two daughters, Betty Lou Caywood of Rockford and Deborah Sue (Richard) Thompson of Portland, Ind.; two stepchildren, Jim LaDoyt Caywood of Van Wert and Leona (John) Hudson of Blissfield, Mich.; four brothers, Larry (Karen) Williams of St. Marys, Maurice Lee Williams of Celina, Bill (Barb) Williams of Mendon and Tom Williams of Rockford; three sisters, Nancy (Larry) Florence of Coldwater, Patty (Ed) Raudabaugh and Arlene Riley, both of Van Wert; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; 11 stepgrandchildren; and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Don and Jack Williams; and two sisters, Joan Williams and Phyllis Stover, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Steve Waterman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Olive Branch Church of God or a charity of donor’s choice.
