Catherine Cleo Tindall

Catherine Cleo Tindall, 97, of Van Wert, died at 2:20 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012, at Van Wert Manor.

She was born July 31, 1915, in Decatur, Ind., the daughter of the late Ora Ross and Lily Marie (Butler) Tindall.

Survivors include a sister, Marjorie Tindall of Van Wert; a brother-in-law, Floyd Sinning of Guymon, Okla.; and one sister-in-law, Jody Tindall of Frankfort, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.

Five brothers, Ora Ross Jr., Richard, Robert, John “Bill”, and Samuel; and three sisters, Gladys Sinning, Doris Sinning and Ruth Tindall, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Tommy Sanderfer officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, at the funeral home.
