Mercer County indicts 9 on drug counts

CELINA – Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey announced the indictment and arrests of nine people on charges resulting from an investigation by the Grand Lake Task Force. The task force is a combined effort of law enforcement agencies in Mercer and Auglaize counties. Celina Police Department also assisted the Sheriff’s Department and the task force with the apprehensions.
Those arrested include the following:
- Bradley Hageman, 21, currently incarcerated at the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility, was charged with three counts of trafficking in heroin, all felonies of the fifth degree.
- Jordan M. Helmstetter, 20, incarcerated at the Auglaize County Detention Facility, was charged with two counts of trafficking in heroin (fifth-degree felonies), on count of trafficking in heroin (a felony of the fourth degree), and one count of trafficking in Methylenedioxyprovalerone (a felony of the third degree).
- Jeremy L. Welch, 32, of Celina, was charged with one count of trafficking in heroin (a felony of the fifth degree).
- Lonnie L. Spence, 21, of Celina, was charged with one count of trafficking in heroin (a felony of the fifth degree).
- Elizabeth J. VanTilburg, 19, of Celina, was charged with three counts of trafficking in heroin (all fifth-degree felonies).
- Michelle K. Anthony, 22, of Celina, was charged with one count of trafficking in heroin (a fourth-degree felony).
- Dustin A. Anthony, 26, of Celina, was charged with one count of trafficking in heroin (a fourth-degree felony).
- Katelyn E. Painter, 19, of Celina, one count of trafficking in heroin (a felony of the fifth degree), one count of offenses involving a counterfeit controlled substance (a felony of the fifth degree), one count of trafficking in heroin (a fourth-degree felony), and one count of trafficking in Methylenedioxyprovalerone (a felony of the third degree).
- Zachary Lentz, 19, of Celina, three counts of trafficking in heroin (all felonies of the fifth degree), and one count of trafficking in a counterfeit controlled substance (also a felony of the fifth degree).
