Robert Dean Sterrett

Robert Dean Sterrett went to live with the Lord on Friday, August 24, 2012. He passed away peacefully at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center surrounded by family and friends.

Robert was born March 21, 1932, in Lima, the son of the late Bernard and Elizabeth (Schulz) Sterrett. He was a loving husband to his surviving spouse, Dorothy (Beery) Sterrett, and father to three children, Kathy (deceased), Tim and Vicki. He was grandfather to six, great-grandfather to four and a father figure to many.

Robert had been the owner of the former Sterrett’s Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Van Wert. He loved people and fishing. He also loved his country and proudly served her during the Korean War. He will be greatly missed by all.

Calling hours are from 2-4 p.m. Monday, August 27, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, followed by a short Christian memorial service, with the Rev. Stuart Wyatt officiating.
