The Van Wert County Council on Aging will be hosting a political forum on October 17, for the candidates running for state representative in the 82nd Ohio House District. The candidates slated to attend the forum are Republican candidate Tony Burkley and independent candidate Pete Schlegel.

The forum, slated to begin at 11 a.m., will be a chance for all Van Wert County residents to meet their potential state representative and listen to their responses to questions important to voters. The Council on Aging is asking for area residents to submit potential forum and candidate questions by Friday, September 14. Questions can be submitted by phone at 419.238.5011 or by mailing them to the Van Wert Senior Center, 220 Fox Road, Van Wert, OH 45891, or by email at vwaging@vwcouncilonaging.com.
