What’s hot at the Niswonger!

Some people like to gauge their ticket buying based on what’s selling or better yet- what’s selling quickly.  So, to give you a little update of NPAC concerts that are released to single ticket sales and where they stand, here you go!

In first place by a few hairs are The Lennon Sisters on Saturday, October 6, at 7:30 p.m.  They are part of the Community Concert Series and this has given them a head start of well over half a house, but there seems to be a huge demand just for them.  They are approaching 1,000 tickets sold and just might sell out before long.

In a close second and closing fast is the Oak Ridge Boys Christmas Show.  We just released single tickets for them last week and they are filling seats each day.  So don’t wait too long for this wonderful Christmas show or you just might be singing Elvira all by yourself!

Nunset Boulevard starring Laverne & Shirley’s Cindy Williams is making big strides as single tickets and bus groups are starting to eat up tickets.  I look for this to continue in rapid fashion as a huge mailer to groups went out several days ago to churches within a 75-mile radius.

In just a few days, September 5, to be exact, the Osmond Brothers Christmas Show will be released for single ticket buyers. They already have a strong selling record and might just be our second Holiday Show to sell out. Don’t miss the Osmond Brothers at the NPAC on December 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Yet to have single releases yet, but showing lots of interest is Vicki Lawrence & Mama on April 5, 2013.  Single tickets don’t go on sale until January 3, but people are eating up tickets by purchasing a Select Series and getting in early.  Purchasing three or more concerts/shows/Lectures allows you to purchase now!

Don’t forget our big gala opener on September 14 and 15 with famed Irish Tenor, Ronan Tynan.  I have been talking with him this week as he just returned from Ireland to New York City.  The show is taking shape for Saturday night’s big concert on September 15 with the Lima Symphony Orchestra and you won’t want to miss it!  I am sure this will be one that will be talked about for a long time and those in attendance will say you should have been there. Take care of that now and get your seats reserved for the gala concert on Saturday and his inspirational speech on Friday, September 14, at 7 p.m. at the NPAC. And if you can, I would love to see you at the gala dinner at Willow Bend preceding this at 5:30 p.m. Call the box office (419.238.NPAC 6722) for details and tickets.

Speaking of the box office, I invite you to see us at the fair in the Commercial Building.  We will be there following our regular box office hours at the NPAC.  Of course, Labor Day we will be closed at the NPAC, but open at the Van Wert County Fair.  You can even get your seats purchased and reserved right there at the fair.

So, that’s our update. If you have a certain concert in mind, you now know where you stand!

FINÉ.
