Children’s Garden donation

The Van Wert Master Gardeners recently received a donation of $2,550 to install additional security cameras at the Smiley Park Children’s Garden. This gift was prompted by the recent fire that destroyed the concession stand and the attempt to set fire to the Children’s Garden’s Crooked House at Smiley Park. Here, Master Gardener Louise Hartwig (left) accepts a check from the Brad and Lori Baughman family from Baughman Tile, which generously donated in order to purchase the additional cameras.
