Lancer senior Kaitlyn Brant earned match medalist honors as she overcame a triple bogey on the last hole to shoot a round of 43. Brant also recorded a birdie four on the long par-five fourth hole.  Runner-up medalist honors went to Wapak’s chief Redskin, Shelby Kohler, who was a shot behind at 44, while third place honors went to a pair of players when Lincolnview senior Amanda Kocab and St. Henry’s Taylor Koesters tied at 45.

Rounding out the Lancers’ team score of 204 was junior Macey Ashbaugh and freshman Mikenna Klinger, who posted rounds of 54 and 62, respectively.

The battle for top tribe honors went to the host school from St. Henry, which used consistent scoring to win the tri-match. A pair of 47s from Haley Hagerkamp and Megan Brackman, along with Kelly Siefring’s 51, combined with Koesters’ to post a team score of 190. Wapakoneta finished in third place behind the Lancers, as Hannah Smith’s 49 followed Kohler’s 44.  Zoey Rayburn and Sierra Sammons posted rounds of 56 and 61, respectively. Wapakoneta’s team score was 210.

Lincolnview moves to 9-2 in all matches, with St. Henry improving to 6-1. Wapak posts a record of 5-6.

Lincolnview will return to action next Wednesday against Ada and Marion Local at Hickory Sticks Golf Club.
