Ribbon cut on new school

Van Wert City Schools Superintendent Ken Amstutz and Van Wert Elementary Principal Beth Runnion cut the ribbon on the new grades 1-5 elementary school as other school staff members, Van Wert City Board of Education members and Van Wert Area Chamber of Commerce directors look on. There will be an open house from 2-4 p.m. this Sunday for the public, while school will begin on Monday, September 10. (Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
