Local Democrats to host fall banquet

The Van Wert Democratic Party will host its annual fall banquet on Tuesday, October 2, at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, 111 N. Shannon St. in Van Wert.

Van Wert native Dan Gehres, who has been a Dayton Municipal Court judge since January 1, 1988, will be the featured speaker at the event, while Democrat candidates for state and national office, or their representatives, will also be speaking at the event.
